The founders of Special Auto Trading (SAT) started the business in a small scale as a personal company in 1948 just after the war. Special Auto Trading was founded 1960 and has over the years settled its position on the Danish market.
Today SAT has production in several countries all over the world. At the headoffice in Denmark new products are designed and developed continuously. The product range contains mainly car and bicycle accessories. Parallel to this SAT distributes products from several leading brands such as JBL,Infinity,Michelin,Kamei and Mobil on the Danish market. Also SAT is a trading company with an interest in most nonfood products.
In Denmark SAT has a marketleading position and delivers to supermarket chains, petrolcompanies, car accessories shops, DIY and car importers.
During the past years the export has increased steadily to the same customer segments in the rest of Scandinavia, and today SAT deals with major distributors in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland.
SAT has more than 4.500 m2 office and storage space, SAT is also in front when it comes to solutions in computer (EDI) development. The company disposes of a loyal and well educated staff of employees.
SAT is known for it´s interest and openness to new products and ideas, and for innovative attitude.
SAT is situated 7 km. South of Helsingore (castle of Hamlet) and by the gateway to the rest of Scandinavia.
